Stellar service from beginning to end. At the first quote, they were very thorough and took the time to explain the options for a new heating system and what the possibilities meant for me. In addition, they are very responsive. They weren't the lowest quote, but in a reasonable ballpark. But the thoroughness of the conversation and initial work made me feel like it was worth the extra. My heater and air conditioning coil were installed in a day, and they were all courteous, efficient and mindful of cleanliness. They were very thorough and took the time to explain the different options for a new heater and air conditioning during the initial quote. They weren't the cheapest and not the most expensive, but were the most professional--in reference to the quality of the quote, very quick response time, and quality of work. During the job they were kind, careful to keep clean, and were a good team with each other. They even left the plastic that they put down under the house. In addition, they pointed out some other things I might want to get checked unrelated to my heating job. And, they were quick to explain questions I had about the new heater after they left. Is definitely work with them again. And, when I can afford to put in air conditioning, will.

Been using Lunt for the last 20 yrs for most of our Heating / AC needs (my Father in Law, who was a contractor used him whenever he needed Heat/AC work). Very knowledgeable. My wife once called another company to try and fix our AC unit, they were clueless and couldn't find the problem. Mark came out and instantly figured out what was wrong. Mark has put in our AC unit, and completed necessary repairs over the 15 yrs since it's installation...okay, he's only come out a couple of times. I've learned my lesson though and won't use anyone else. Recently, after initial contact; he was at our house in an hour and the problem was fixed soon after. Awesome!

Met Mark and Sam at the spring home and garden show in Santa Rosa. Had them come out and give me a quote. They didn't present as sales people but as folks that really wanted to make it right for us. They were informative, discussed options, what would work best and what would suffice. We didn't make a decision right away and I'm glad we didn't. We actually had them replace not only our heater but also our A/C. Mark was great about providing options. I didn't want to pay much for an A/C given that we don't use it very often but wanted something that would work well.
Both he and Sam did an awesome job in installation, all in one day. I would highly recommend Lundt. No fuss, no drama and very competative pricing. Totally trust them. Wish the did electrical and plumbing as well. I'd hire them in a heart beat.

Great job. My gas furnace broke. Called the office, workman in the field called back in 20 minutes, got here an hour later. He fixed it for a reasonable fee, and explained what the problem was. He was very open and honest and shared lots of information. (p.s. don't close your registers or your heater will overheat.)

We had the best experience with Lunt Heating & Air and I would highly refer them. The were very knowledgeable and made it easy for me to understand. Some other companies weren't even looking at the intake return ( which was way too small) or the air vents to see what size ducts we had ( again too small) Lunt changed all the ducts and the intake return and got the permits, did the testing. I would highly recommend them.

Upgrade on furnace in old house: I purchased a 1500 sq. ft home with a high efficiency furnace a few years old. The furnace warmed the house but when the furnace blew air the sound was so load we could hardly talk. Over the years this noise became more frustrating. Further, on cold mornings in the West County, the furnace would run for 5 minutes, shut off and then recycle, 5 on 2 off for several cycles. Reading on the Internet it was apparent the furnace was oversized and going through overheating followed by the blower cooling the furnace. The furnace was installed by the local "sheet metal company" so I called them for a quote for a furnace with variable fan and modulating fuel valve. The nice young man looked at the furnace they installed in 2004 and said I could buy another like it, 80,000BTUs. He made no measurement, didn't inspect the ducts, just shot from the hip and said, this is what you need. My wife suggested getting a second quote so I read about other furnaces, besides Carrier and selected York. Their website sent me to Lunt. I called and two gentlemen came out. We discussed the noise and they evaluated our heating system. They brought equipment to evaluate the air flow and determined the furnace was trying to force too much air through the ducting, forcing it to overheat, hence the frequent cycling. Lunt Technicians measured the air flow through the ducting and did testing, up front at no expense to me. Using these analyses, they said I should increase the duct and air venting in two rooms to gain better balance. I followed their suggestions, had them install what they recommended and am very satisfied. The furnace, a York YP9C, is virtually without sound and the smaller 60,000 BTU furnace seems correct for our home size. I highly recommend talking to Lunt and not the "sheet metal company".

With an older building here in Mendocino Avenue, it seems like every summer there is a cooling problem and every winter a heating issue. It's probably time to replace the equipment on our roof, but it will be expensive ...
